Palinuro lies in the south of the Cilento, approx. 170 km to the south of Naples, also name the village of thousand grottos. From the sandy beaches Cap Palinuro rises enormously, so as it would guard with jealousy this region. The grottos present to the public in their elegance, the sea is rich in fish and the depths of the water with profuse vegetation is a paradise for diver.

The name Palinuro comes from the legendary helmsman of the Eneas who disappeared on account of the not answered love of a girl in the sea depths.
