The rocky Capo Vaticano is in the municipality of Ricadi, southwest from Vibo Valentia and near by Tropea in Calabria.

The coast is also named “Costa degli Dei” (coast of the Gods). Lonely, enchanted bays with fantastic sandy beaches are here surrounded from steeply rising rocks. Some of the bays are to be reached only by the boat. For diver the sea bottom "Formicoli" is interesting thanks to its volcanic rock formations and the rich fauna.
In the small locations “Ricadi” and “Santa Marina di Ricadi” you find small grocer's shops, bars and restaurants. The closest bigger town is Tropea.
